Photographica is a database with which to document ones’ photographic equipment and ephemera. You probably have information scattered about in spreadsheets, in word processor documents, on bits of paper, old brochures, web browser bookmarks and possibly on post-it notes.
A database helps you bring all this information together so you can become more organised and productive. You can import or export your data, as well as printing your catalogue as a valuation, Will attachment or archiving your collection catalogue as a PDF eBook.
The Photographica collection management software is based upon my photography and curatorial collection management experiences, along with the input from a wide variety of dedicated photographic collectors.
Photographica has an easy to use intuitive interface which helps you organise your collections by maker, model and user defined categories. You can add multiple pictures, documents and web links to your items, as you go along. It contains an address book for your contacts, buyers, agents or sellers. It can also document loans, repair costings and profit/loss. It also includes dedicated pop-up browser windoes to automatically search sites (Camera-wiki, Wikipdia and eBay) for the item yu are currently viewing. |
